After Diana Taurasi announced her retirement, Natasha Cloud and Brittney Griner left Arizona and the beautiful new practice facility and headed for greener pastures. She made her Olympic debut last year at 32 years old and is just overall someone very worth rooting for.

Cheryl Reeves, the coach, is one of the winningest coaches in the world and has been able to get her teams to the WNBA championships in a way nobody else has.
Straight both meanings baller Satou Sabally should hopefully be the final piece to make this team click provided she can stay healthy. For those of you who are new, every year I break down the list of athletes who are openly queer in the league. Thomas is a triple-double machine who will somehow out-rebound you despite having two torn labrums.
The Fever pulled together a few big moves in the offseason in order to get themselves in playoff contention, including the signing of all three players on this list. On the downside, Natasha Howard is a bit past her prime and Sydney Colson is far from an ideal backup point guard.
As a queer person who has played basketball my entire life, the off-court drama is always equally as exciting as the on-court display of skills. This Lynx team is also putting together what they think could be a championship winning team.
We've got answers. Natisha Hiedeman is a talented back-up point guard. In terms of queer things to know, Chelsea Gray and her wife Tipsea Moorer are absolutely adorable together. That leaves Kahleah Copper as the remaining star. If you like great basketball, Brooklyn is the place to see it.
She had a breakout season last year and I expect her to continue being just as delightful to watch this year. No matter how masculine presenting someone is, I will not be speculating! The Dream team is going to be great this year in my opinion—not necessarily when it comes to winning, but when it comes to having rootable players.
